"Beloved Carnelian"
My adoptive daughter is African American and looks amazing in anything with this carnelian tone. These were her Birthday earrings and tho they are a bit heavy they are fab on her and she loves them!

"Glorious Carnelian"
I lived in New Delhi several years ago and had occasion to visit the Taj Mahal more than 8 times, taking visitors, etc. The building, of course, is magnificent and looks different depending on the time of day and amount of light. One of my favorite things about it were the gorgeous floral panels inside inlaid with semi-precious stones. Its very dim inside. The guides shine a flashlight on the inlaid stones. The carnelian glows like fire. Since that time, its been a favorite of mine. These earrings are beautiful and substantial. My husband is going to give them to me for Christmas, so I had to watch while he put them away. I tried them on, and didnt want to give them back, they are so nice. They look amazing on. I know I will get many compliments on them.

Ive started to have to send links to friends and relatives who want to know where I got these gorgeous earrings. That makes me happy! Shanker creates such dazzling jewelry and these are BRILLIANT!Beautiful color, catches the sunlight just right. Nice size - perfect! I dont like tiny earrings and dont want huge ones - these are perfect. Comfortable in the ears all day. I typically wear them with olive green clothing - they compliment my clothes perfectly.
