Featuring round eyes, an open mouth, and a bird perched on top, this African mask is designed by Daniel Quarcoo. He works with local artisans, who hand-carve this long, oval mask from sese wood. The black mask is accented with gleaming pieces of embossed aluminum and brass, which evoke traditional scarification practices.

"A nice addition to my collection"
Meticulously crafted. This is a beautiful piece of art for my collection and is also the right size and design for my Christmas cultural decor. However it is smaller than expected because the stand is included in the stated measurement.

"Beautiful piece"
It really is made with love and care and that is evident. The super tiny dots painted on the face have been carefully placed and meticulously plotted out. I give full credit to this artist and the patience put into putting out this beautiful piece of work!
