In Mexico, when someone receives a favor from a saint or other Catholic image, they can express their gratitude by pinning a small charm, called a milagrito, onto the image. Popular saints can have many hanging on or near them as a testament to their generosity. This 925 sterling silver pendant necklace is based on the heart milagrito - one larger heart with a series of tiny ones hanging below. The necklace is made by Oscar Figueroa Escorcia of the famous silver town of Taxco.

"Beautiful gift"

"Lightweight dramatic"
It s substantially sized. Probably a bit bigger than a quarter but do light and thin. Well made.
