I love these earrings. They are small which is what I like. My only suggestion would be for the post to be shorter and to not fasten like they do... thats just my preference. I may even snip that part off to make them work better for me... someone else might appreciate that they do clip closed though. The color of the garnet is a perfect red and so compliments the white of the pearl. These would make a great gift too!

My fiancée will love this necklace for a birthday present. It is a wonderful statement piece and I am sure this piece will mesh with her style in jewelry. Congrats to the artist and her creativity. Thank you

Men and women have adorned themselves with jewelry since long before the age of reason! Garlands of flowers, bracelets of woven grass, shells, and stone; such were the first decorations to beautify the human body. We may have been wearing jewellery as far back as 75,000 years ago - 30,000 years earlier than previously believed - according to a recent report by National Geographic News. Over the millennia, jewellery styles and materials have evolved in step with the advances of civilization. From the Stone Age to the Bronze Age, from the Iron Age to the Industrial Revolution (and seemingly back again!), jewellery styles have transformed, modernized, and then often returned to their most basic forms and essential elements.
