Make me Smile
I have this hanging in a treatment room. I was drawn to it because of its name. I loved it for the colors i saw in the picture. I love it now for the brilliant colors, texture, and beauty on my wall. So, so very pretty.
Patchwork elephant wall hanging
Sent this as a gift and my friend was over the moon. She immediately sent photos. The craftsmanship and materials are outstanding. The extra touch is that it is lined in the back. NOVICA Indian tapestries are top quality. Most similar exports in shops are unlined, poor materials, and sometimes stained in the back. Not a big deal, but those prices asked for are high for what they are. But when its all you know, have seen, you dont know anything else. Until NOVICA! I showed a NOVICA Indian Tapestry to a Co worker from India. He said he hadnt seen something that high in quality since the 60s.
"I learned a lot, including embroidery work, block printing, etc. Once I started working with him, I realized this is where I should be and left my job at the Rajasthan roadways."

Rural Woman Batik Cotton Wall Hanging by India Artisan, "Pots of Water"$34.99
Indian artisan Siddique beautifully portrays rural life in this batik wall hanging. A village woman adorned in traditional attire and jewelry carries two pots of water on her head from the village well or maybe from the nearby riverside. She gracefully balances the pots on her head without spilling a drop. Rich colors in tones of red, sky blue, mustard yellow, beige, off white, peach, olive green and black are all used in the design, and help to create the feeling of heat and sun that characterizes life in India. The decorative piece is marked by multiple loops at the top for hanging on a rod, and black cotton borders help create a neat finish.
