Peruvian Earthtone Wool Tapestries
It's very beautiful and large. On mine the background color is a little darker. It looks like a dark cream on my monitor and it's more of a gold. Very nice and warm looking.
We received this vibrant wall tapestry and are delighted with the beauty, colour and theme. The piece will find it's new home above our hearth here in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. The artist 'Raul Ulloa Baylón' captures the Andean landscape and sentiment of his youth in a wonderfully impressionistic way while still using traditional imagery. The tapestry invokes a powerful reflective emotion on the struggles of maintaining cultures and the environments from which they arose.
Very fine texture so details are sharp. Colors are even bolder than shown. Intricate patterns are fascinating to look at both up-close and from across the room. A stunning piece of artistry. Simply exquisite.
"My biggest challenge is to bring you my designs, show you my colors and tell you about our history, of which I feel very proud."
