Desi Antari in Bali designs and crafts a pair of shimmering lily earrings from silver and gold. The artisan starts by hand crafting the earrings from sterling silver, plating the precious metal in 18k gold with a subtle brushed-satin finish.

"To achieve peace, there are several things that must be created, namely the availability of basic human needs which consist of clothing, food, and shelter. In the world, there is also a harmonious relationship that must be preserved starting from ourselves, namely humans with God, humans with fellow creatures created by God, and humans with the universe's environment. If it has been created in us, we will feel that peace, and our lives will feel more comfortable and peaceful," says the artist.

In this statue, each of these pillars of peace has the following meaning:

• The doves are a symbol of purity and hope, tenderness of devotion. Doves are also associated with the third chakra, which is connected to purpose, creativity, self-expression, and ego.
• The globe is a symbol of the earth itself where we as God's creatures are the inhabitants of the world.3. The two hands symbolize human efforts to care for and maintain a strong life hand in hand to create peace for all mankind and the rest of nature.
• The two pillars symbolize justice and prosperity in which every human being must be able to meet the needs of clothing, food, and shelter for a comfortable life in the world.
• The nuclear disarmament motif symbolizes the Anti-War Movement design by Gerald Holtom on February 21, 1958. This symbol is a combination of semaphore signals for the letters N and D which stand for nuclear disarmament.
• Two open fingers symbolize victory in the struggle.

"Peace can be realized by mutual tolerance and love for one another. This can start from the smallest circle, namely the family. Instill a sense of love and peace from an early age so that in the future there will be mutual respect," artist Ida Bagus Lawa Bargawa confides.

"Peace is always beautiful, always starts with a smile, and any problem can be discussed. Differences are natural and, as long as they don't hurt each other, peace can still be realized. Peace is closely related to mutual tolerance, listening, and understanding, and reducing unnecessary debate is an important key.

"Keep peace and maintain it, because to get it requires a great sacrifice. Peace cannot be maintained by violence, it can only be achieved by understanding peace within ourselves and peace in the world. Peace is a daily, weekly, and monthly process of gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, and quietly building new structures.

"My hope for world peace is that what is an aspiration for the progress of a country will be reflected in the harmonious relations of all countries in this world. For this reason, all countries must be able to help each other stabilize the world's economy. Welfare within a country will have a good impact on the path of world peace."

To illustrate these thoughts and dreams, the artisan brings us a captivating composition made with traditional batik techniques. Crafted in Bali, it is a tribute to peace and unity, depicting joined hands surrounding the world and upholding the peace symbol. Every element adds a message of friendship, love and cooperation.

"A painter has a very abstract option of beauty to describe achieving peace. Beauty is infinite in this world full of peace with love for God, family, and the environment. By respecting others and caring for each other, this world will become beautiful and peaceful. If not us, who else can begin to create peace?" says Nyoman Tomblos.

"Starting in nature, peace finds its way to every corner of the globe, to every human and every animal." The Balinese artist creates an expressionist composition within the realm of the pointillist style. Every detail is created with vibrant colors. This painting suggests that all peace on Earth originates from the three main Hindu gods of Bali.

Titled "Khayangan Tiga Temple," which means "The Three Main Temples."

"I see a lack of compassion between fellow beings these days and few people who bring about peace in society. The process to make peace for the common good in society and the world starts with the self, doing small things such as meditating and practicing mindfulness to solve problems for the sake of both peace and the world," master artisan Wayan Rendah says.

"My hope is that everyone can respect one other and respect the differences that exist to avoid hostility and injustice in life and society.

"Buddha's teachings promote inner peace and unity for achieving enlightenment, and Buddha has motivated many to transform their life choices over thousands of years, spanning periods of chaos and stability."

The Buddhist concept of a peaceful life inspires this hand-carved hibiscus wood sculpture depicting the serene face of Buddha, blessing all those within his presence. At the center of a world suspended in equilibrium, Buddha seeks discipline and selflessness among the inhabitants of the Earth.

Bali's Aricadia creates a fascinating composition full of symbolism. He depicts a tall, muscular man surrounded by white doves removing bullets and land mines from a war zone. "In this world, we don't need any weapons to achieve a feeling of peace. We only need love and compassion," the artist reflects.

“The doves symbolize world peace, and the bullets are the remnants of war that pollute the world. The symbol of peace is the hope of all people. Strength must be balanced with a peaceful heart. Balinese artisan Aricadia paints an intriguing portrait of an expectant mother surrounded by gentle white doves, a symbol of peace. "Blue represents the sky and yellow is the grain of wheat that grows in the ground. All move as desired, without pollution and war. All went as desired without pollution and war.
