This unbelievably detailed motorcycle sculpture is the original creation of Mexico's Armando Ramirez. The artisan works with recycled auto parts and scrap metal to create his eco-friendly sculptures, such as the spark plugs, bearings, screws and nuts seen in this piece.

Armando Ramirez transforms a collection of metal pieces including thick wires and tube pipes to create this impressive motorbike. Other pieces that once made part of a car's electrical and ignition systems have a more specialized function in this sculpture. For example, bearings and coils are transformed into tires and hubcaps. The gas tank used to be an ignition rocker arm and the engine is built from tubes and a brush holder. Finally, the seat was taken from a clutch pedal.

Ramirez crafts this sculpture by hand from upcycled metal auto parts, including spark plugs, springs, cogs, and nuts.

Wonderfully realistic, a semi truck comes to life as Armando Ramírez recycles castoff cycle parts and discarded bits of metal. Sheet metal becomes the sturdy bumper and production chains, the grille. A refrigerator motor provides the cab, while timing chains and a motorcycle traction piece become seats. Wire, screws and die-cut scraps all ingeniously fulfill distinct roles.
