The colors of the firmament, when the sun finally bids day farewell, inspire the vibrant design of these alpaca wool long sleeve fingerless mitts. Fernando Cano creates vibrant patterns as he knits the mittens in shades of plum, orange, green and brown. Alpaca wool has been prized in the Andean region for centuries thanks to its warm and lightweight fleece.

This beautifully-patterned fingerless mitts are designed by Peru's Ana Fernandez, who takes inspiration from the textiles of the ancient Inca. Featuring a rainbow of colors including teal, berry, royal blue and orange, the mitts are knit of pure alpaca wool for soft and lightweight warmth.

Camel, black, grey and white is the palette selected by Peru's Edison Canal for a pair of fingerless mitts with stair, snake and wave motifs representing the Inca iconography of his hometown of Cusco. He works with a fine selection of baby alpaca for these mitts that are lightweight and soft to the touch.
