Asking the benevolent Madonna to bless these paradisial islands with prosperity and love, the artisan uses cow bone to craft a sublime sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary lovingly gazing at her son, Jesus, smiling with radiant innocence. Set on a suar wood base, the piece is also an homage to the region's culture.
