Presented by Indonesian artisan Yuni Kristina, this gorgeous silk shawl is hand-stamped using the batik process. The wrap combines saffron, espresso, and cherry-colored traditional motifs on a paprika background. The truntum pattern dominates the shawl, symbolizing unconditional love. The kawung motif is thought to have been designed by the king of Mataram and represents universal good will.

Yuni Kristina replicates the legendary kawung batik pattern for this crimson shawl of silken textures. Dating back to the 13th century, the kawung features floral motifs in intersecting circles. The pattern was once exclusive to the royal court of the Sultan of Jogjakarta.

Several days are spent to create this floral batik silk masterpiece. Artisan Yuni Kristina learned the art of Indonesian batik, a UNESCO cultural treasure, from her mother.

Depicting ornate tendrils in crimson arabesques, Saktut Raitawati designs a comfortable cotton robe with floral motifs. Bali's traditional batik technique is used to create them. Classic front-wrap styling, wide kimono style sleeves and a matching tie belt combine for graceful line.

This handpainted batik robe is a truly original work of art. Sunlight, water, dye and temperature all factor into the look of the finished robe. This should be considered a unique design made especially for you. Colors and pattern placement will vary.

This necklace of classic elegance features a pendant as splendid as spring's first blossom. Designed by Wayan Sarjana the pendant features fiery carnelian petals and a river pearl center. The necklace is cast of sterling silver.
