A great find
The sculpture of the Jaguar by this Nicaraguan is an extraordinary piece. It now sits in a room in Massachusetts. There is nothing weak about the sculpture, the artist rendition brings life to the rock, it captures the essence of the Jaguar, not only as the creature, the animal but the artists also gives to it the myth, it is closer to a mythological creature that in fact it is. It represents the region and its people beautifully.
A fabulous piece of art!!!!
We love this piece!! We were in India recently and purchased a similar elephant but with nowhere near the detail or beauty of this one. We are so pleased - the picture does not do justice to the beauty of this art work. Thank you NOVICA and Raj Kumari and Raja Ram!!
