Ceramic vessel, 'Portrait of a Moche Man'
By Mary
Amazing Craftsmanship
I just returned from my second trip to Peru, where I saw hundreds of original Moche artifacts in museums, including the one this is based on. I was looking for a piece like this to bring back, as I love Moche work, but didn t find anything I liked. I saw Mr. Acosta s work on Novica and was immediately enthralled. I ordered this piece plus the Nazca whale ceramic. They both are beautiful and so much like the originals! I will definitely buy more of his work in the future.
Ceramic figurine, 'Andean Duo'
By Robbie
Beautiful
I had to have it because it reminds me of my great grandchildren. The girls on the donkey( we have mules) and the boy not riding. It is exactly the way it is Andrew is scared of ieverything and the girls, not at all. Lol.
Ceramic nativity scene, 'Inuit Family' (8 pieces)
By Cathleen
So different
I collect Nativity scenes made in different countries with different ethnic themes. This is the only Eskimo one i have. Just adorable and not huge. As I have so many now, I really appreciate the smaller size. Always like the different interpretation of the animals with the different ethnic scenes and just love the polar bears and penguin. Highly recommend for both quality of workmanship and unique interpretation.
