Beautiful, high-quality workmanship
We just received this beautiful quilted comforter from the artisan in India. The workmanship is gorgeous. All seams are carefully matched and it is hand-quilted. It took me minutes to locate the zippers on the shams--thats how invisible they were. The comforter is larger than we needed for our queen-size bed, so we just fold over the top a bit. The pattern is truly a work of art. It was well worth the wait.

Hand woven full size Zapotec Cotton Bedspread
This bedspread is beautifully made and is just what I was looking for. The size fits my bed perfectly and this shade of yellow goes with curtains woven on a back strap loom in Guatemala. I am so pleased with my purchase. Viva Mexico and the wonderful artists who create lovely things for us to enjoy. Gracias a la Sra. Ruiz.
Zapotec cotton bedspread, 'Oaxaca Fields' (king)

Gorgeous Green!
This beautiful bedspread graces my king bed in my condo in Costa Rica - it brings in the vibrant spring green from the lush terrain outside my windows! The workmanship is truly excellent. The ivory stripes part of the spread are a complex woven column design in warm ivory and soft grey with ivory cross-stitch bands, and go beautifully with the soft gray of my walls. A very subtle green on green stripe is woven into the green field of the coverlet. The fringe is hand tied on both sides and the bottom edge of the cover. The weight of the fabric is quite substantial - it feels like a very heavy and textured linen weave and has an excellent hand for a coverlet, so it does lie smoothly on the bed. Simply lovely and a worthwhile investment! I added blue and green batik style cotton pillows, but I do wish there were shams to go with this! Beautiful work!!
