Born June 25, 1968, Guma Alvites Chomba received a degree in fine arts and has worked as an artist since 1990. He describes his work as his passion and a part of his faith. It is humanity that drives him to develop his art and this is reflected in his works, as he strives to transmit kindness and love.
Alvites Chomba has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibits in Peru as well as in Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States. He was awarded third place in the prestigious VI Salón de Pintura Contemporánea Latinoamericana (Loja, Ecuador) in 1998.
The artist's greatest challenge is to grow as an artist. To his friends at Novica, he says, "I like to work with love and sincerity."
