"All of my art is about religion. I pass on Buddhism through my paintings so people can see the beauty of Lord Buddha."
"Sawasdee krap! My name is Vikorn Sara. I am in my 40s, married and have one daughter. Her name is Wadfah, which means 'drawing the sky.' I am the second child of four siblings. I have one elder brother and two younger sisters. We all love each other so much.
"I love painting, so I got into art school after I graduated from secondary school. I enrolled in the Fine Art Faculty of Chiang Mai University. After I graduated in 1997, I worked as an art director at a large Thai music and entertainment company for three years. In 1999, I moved back home. Even though I have worked in many places, I still painted in my free time.
"After I finally quit my other jobs, I just gave all of my time to painting. All of my art is about religion. I pass on Buddhism through my paintings so people can see the beauty of Lord Buddha. All of my works come from my own inspiration and, before I start to paint, I first have to find inspiration.
"Whenever I do anything, I always give it my best effort. I always live my life in the present. The risky time in my life was when I was at the university. I had so much freedom to do anything I wanted. I didn't pay attention to my studies and almost had to drop out of school. Anyway, I pulled myself back and I finally graduated.
"The most impressive thing in my life was when I gave my first paycheck to my parents. I was so happy that I could give something back to them, since they gave me so many things. In the future, I want my work to be interesting for people from all over the world."
