"I like to be in peace as well as to act rather than to speak, so I developed a style of painting by using abstraction, feelings, and shadows."
"Sawasdee krab! My name is Graison Polveechittragran, born 27 May, 1970. I am married and have a son, who is a clever and talkative boy. He is my inspiration. I have a great family, cute son and a good job. My life is so happy.
"The main reason why I studied art is that I love it. When I was young I submitted my paintings in many competitions, and I often received awards for them. After I graduated from University, I was a product and interior designer. I used to work at a saa (mulberry) paper company, and I had to do small pieces of work. I had to concentrate and be very patient. I hadn't had that kind of experience before, so I took it as a challenge and in 1992, I received the Best Designer Award at The Product Competition. However, deep in my heart, my love for painting was still beating strong. Now, I spend all of my time painting, and I am so happy.
"I like to be in peace as well as to act rather than to speak, so I developed a style of painting by using abstraction, feelings, and shadows. I would like to create the kind of work others find outstanding and acceptable.
"I've been working on a new series of paintings, which I entitled 'Life and Time.' For this collection, I mix silver powder with acrylics to create a different illusion of light and shadows. This kind of artwork requires a different technique that not many people use.
"My work has a modern form that is different from local culture and the traditional way of life that I love. I grew up according to our Thai traditional way of life, which I still follow. But with regards to my work, I like to create modern images with modern techniques.
"I think Novica is a good way for us artists to exhibit our work. I would like to tell you all that I love art, and I will forever continue with my artwork."
