"I was born in 1976 in East Java to a simple family who worked by themselves. I have only one sibling. We lived in a village there and I've loved painting since that time.

"After finishing school, I moved to Yogyakarta to attend an art institution and began working as a painter when I was 18.

"I began traveling back and forth from Yogyakarta to Bali to gain experience in exhibitions although I continued living in Yogya to learn more deeply about professional arts.

"I love painting although when I was a small kid, there was no one to teach me. My hobby consisted of anything that has to do with art.

"People know me as a patient and quiet person. I am married with one boy who changes my life as he teaches my wife and me to be more responsible, and he gives me more challenges to face our lives.

"I've had some hard times throughout my life, and I have learned that every time it happens it's to prepare us for a better future. I feel most at peace and satisfied when I know what I'm doing and my effort is enough to support my children and family.

"My artwork combines tradition, modern themes, and a bit of mystery. I try to contrast dark colors with light colors, creating a satisfying visual design. I have earned an award at a finalist at a painting exhibition on 2008.
