"Because I discovered my artistic potential at an early age, I deem art to be the fulfillment of my soul's desire."
As a naturally gifted artist, Nii Dodoo was born into a family of artists on September 13, 1982. After graduating from secondary school in 1997, he gained admission to a technical school where he studied visual arts. But his inspiration and skill were best used when he was admitted to a prestigious college of art and design in Accra, where he studied painting, textiles, graphics and fashion illustration.
"Because I discovered my artistic potential at an early age, I deem art to be the fulfillment of my soul's desire," he confides.
Dodoo works from a studio in his home where he does his painting, and has two apprentices training with him.
