Details

Sun colors blaze across the handloom as Mario Chávez creates this extraordinary rug. Working in virgin wool, he weaves colorful medallions in red, yellow and brown. Bands of geometric motifs frame them as they glow on an elegant rug.

Titled "Tierra soles II" in Spanish.

31 Testimonials for Mario Chavez

Thank you Mario Chavez for creating these wonderful rugs

The rug and its beautiful vibrant colours brought memories of warmer times, when on my frequent Mexico trips, back to cold, dark and wet Scotland - making our winters more bearable. Excellent craftsmanship and also very resilient for daily use - not shredding fibres etc.
