Against a body of claret, multicolored rhombus patterns decorate this area rug from Mexico. Working in the traditional style of Zapotec handicrafts, Mexican artisan Alfredo Ruiz diligently hand-weaves the rug of wool on the telar de pedal, or floor loom. Fringes complete the rug at each end.
