Zapotec Area Rug from Mexico (4x6), "Earth's Splendor"
Shading from coffee and tan to ochre and gold, earth tones reveal their innate splendor in this exquisite rug. Sunlight plays across the design while clouds cast blue shadows in an elegant handloomed masterpiece. Gregorio Ruiz Lopez takes his inspiration from the world around him for this piece, named "Rayas Tierra" in Spanish.
Because each rug is individually woven by hand, measurements could vary +/- 2 inches (5 cm).

"Favorite of all of our Zapotec rugs"
This rug is my favorite of the 7 Zapotec rugs I have purchased from Novica. Vibrant colors, beautifully made, and it enhances our dark hardwood floors.

"Rug works well in our bedroom."
Beautiful colors and pattern. Fringe is also a nice touch, though a tad uncomfortable when you step on it barefoot. But still glad I purchased this lovely rug! Great craftmanship.

Received my Stars on Earth Zapotec rug yesterday and was blown-away by the product quality and the artistic beauty Gregorio Ruiz created. I will continue to follow Gregorio. Also, first time discovering Novica and, my oh my, what a joy.
