Wool Zapotec Style Area Rug (3x5), "Zapotec Earth"
Using the same techniques as his ancestors, Gregorio Ruiz crafts this beautiful area rug. The wool is dyed with pigments from local materials, and the rug is woven on a traditional pedal loom. The sand, coffee and beige rug features Zapotec diamond motifs and hand-knotted fringe at both ends.

"Rug works well in our bedroom."
Beautiful colors and pattern. Fringe is also a nice touch, though a tad uncomfortable when you step on it barefoot. But still glad I purchased this lovely rug! Great craftmanship.

Received my Stars on Earth Zapotec rug yesterday and was blown-away by the product quality and the artistic beauty Gregorio Ruiz created. I will continue to follow Gregorio. Also, first time discovering Novica and, my oh my, what a joy.
