"Wonderful painting of this statuette"
This is actually a common structural form for an angel sculpture from Bali. What makes this one unique is the very wonderful, detailed, and talented painting of the face creating an impressive and soulful cat angel. My statuette had noticeable red discoloration/smudges on the front and back of the wings. I see that the artisans other cat statuettes for sale have even more red spots. I cant believe these spots were meant to be there, and I am surprised the pieces are being sold like this; not sure what they are.

"It reminds me of a cat I had."
It is perfect in every way. Just like this cat I had. I loved that cat. Her name was Mrs. Baby. This statue is now the centerpiece to a shrine I have built for her, since her disappearance.
