Nature inspires Diego Mendoza as he reclaims roots from the coffee tree, letting the wood itself dictate the shape of each carving. Transformed into a set of two deep serving spoons, the wood's grain enhances each one. The irregular forms seem shaped by the xocomil winds that blow across Lake Atitlan.

"I Had to Peek!"
I got these to give as a gift, and just had to open the pre-wrapped package to see the spoons. They were beautifully done and smoothed. I love that they were clearly hand crafted. Nicely done.
