Four fanciful sea turtles float with lotus buds and blossoms in this handmade suar wood relief panel presented by Indonesia's Eka. The panel appears to be a symmetrical, abstract design from afar, revealing its rich and intricate detail only upon closer examination. Thought to be a link between heaven and earth in South East Asia, the turtle is considered good luck.

I got this as a gift for someone else and they liked it so much it went up on the wall the following day... the hand carving on this is a excellent , a job done too well... it is absolutely one of the best hand carve pieces i think i have seen in a while... thank you so much for displaying this Buddha.. the quality and workmanship is outstanding...
