Delivery EstimateA curious little giraffe looks to the heavens in this endearing copal wood figurine from Mexico. Zeny and Reyna carve the sculpture by hand and paint it with exquisite detail. The giraffe's tail is braided with maguey ixtle fibers, which are somewhat coarse since they are not treated. Small parts are separated for shipping to protect from breakage.

"Giraffe Lover"
My daughter loves giraffes! This one is so delicate and finely made. She loved how lightweight it is. The artist did a great job of creating the perfect little giraffe.

"Poor quality control"
The little giraffe was poorly constructed and arrived without ears and horns. I was embarrassed when this gift was opened by my daughter.

"My Curious Giraffe is Personality PLUS"
This fella is almost a foot tall and every bit as mischievous in person as his pictures show him to be. He was SO WELL WRAPPED that it took a couple of minutes to find him amidst all the tissue paper and his ears and horns are packed separately in a small packet and must be assembled (a wise choice of the carver, Im sure). His long, long and slender neck and legs, coupled with the wonderful giraffe hide paint job are so cute. I am so happy with him. He just makes me smile every time I see him.

"Wow! Such amazing detials!"
I knew as soon as I saw this treasure I had to buy it! -- Painted with the wisdom of turtles (just one symbolism for turtles). Now they also have available a blue bull with fish! So tempting! The painting details and carving of the bull are just incredible. Perfection! I am always in awe when I receive these pieces from Zeny and Reyna. So happy to see that more of their artworks are available here on Novica.
