Handcrafted into a saucer shape, this artistic decorative vessel from Ghana is designed by the artisans at Kpando Pottery Fesi Shed. Line and dot motifs cover the top of the vessel, featuring a small lid in the center. The beautiful brown tones present on the vase are a result of the wood firing process, where sawdust is burned in the kiln to lend a charred color to the ceramic. The vessel is named Adipa, meaning "good thing" in the Akan language.
