Wearing jeweled earrings and a frangipani blossom in her hair, this delightful lady is a picture of femininity. Gusti Ngurah Semarajaya crafts a doll from crocodile wood, sculpting a serenely beautiful face and eloquent hands and feet. She wears a gown of cotton ikat cloth. The word means "to knot" in the Malaysian language, and the threads are tie-dyed before weaving. The doll can be posed in a variety of positions; it can be displayed alone or on a base.
