Women's Cotton Embroidered Blouse Top, "Midnight Jewel"
Set against midnight black, colorful insets evoke a medley of jewels. Sequins, applied by hand, adorn this elegant blouse by Ritu Agnihotri. The flattering tunic fastens with hidden hooks and eyes, and the designer includes extra sequins. As is typical of genuine handloomed fabric, there are tiny slubs throughout. This occurs when a thread runs out, and the weaver extends it by twisting a new thread together with the old.

"Mother's Day Gift"
Mom loved this tunic. The sleeve openings were a little narrow- she likes to pull her sleeves up to just below her elbows- but this wasn't any real issue. I didn't realize it would be sheer, but again, this wasn't an issue because she can wear a camisole underneath. She absolutely loved the colors and the fit.
