White Huamanga Stone Hand Carved Nativity Sculpture, "Beautiful Nativity"
Peruvian artisan Juan Licas Coronado hand carves this nativity sculpture out of Huamanga stone, a type of alabaster indigenous to the Cangallo province of Peru that is a natural marble white color. The scene includes an amber-colored star above the baby Jesus, who is surrounded by Mary and Joseph, the wise men and barn animals, all sculpted with great detail. The individual pieces are a fixed part of the sculpture and are not removable.

"Amazing Carving"
