Watercolor Monoprint of Blood Moon and Blue Grass, "My Home II"

April's famed 'Blood Moon' of 2015 inspires Det to create this watercolor monoprint. "Everything seemed different that night, the moon turned orange, so I depicted the birds and the grass differently too – in blue," explains the Thai artist. "The underlying theme in 'My Home' series is that the environment around me is as warm as my home. This painting has a cold feeling that eventually becomes just as warm and safe as my home."
