Mexico's Armando Ramírez gathers a curious assortment of metal pieces as well as bike and auto parts, and recycles them into an old-school cinema projector. The projector's main body is shaped with spark plugs, bearings, a chain, a rocker, wires and nails. Discarded pieces of a die machine, half a sphere and thick wires shape the lens, while the stand and tripod are crafted with a bearing and nails.
Ramírez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
