After a hard day's work, friends meet at the cantina (bar) to talk about sports, life, etc. Armando Ramírez captures a scene from everyday life in a sculpture complete crafted with recycled metal pieces. Ramirez uses spark plugs for the bodies, iron wires for their arms and legs, and die pieces for the heads and feet. The glasses are crafted from nozzles taken off blow torches and the bar is sculpted with iron sheets.
Ramírez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.

I lived in Mexico for awhile and I remember the upcycled metal sculptures that were for sale there. This is a lifelike rendition of a tarantula. It is really cool, this one, and it is proudly displayed on my table.
