Bali artisan Nyoman Ariawan crafts a meditation ring that is rich with cultural interest. The unisex sterling silver band ring is adorned with curling samsi motifs. A kind of Buddhist motif popular in China, samsi designs are often found on the lion statues that stand guard in Buddhist temples. The decorated center portion of the meditation ring spins freely on the band.
