Delivery Estimate"Honor your mother with this creative design," encourages Akwele Suma. She crafts the colorful strand necklace by hand in a variety of colors that includes grey, cream, red, orange, purple, green,blue, black and brown. Suma works with recycled paper, creating beads in different shapes and sizes that alternate with sese wood spacers. The necklace is long enough to wrap twice if desired.
The artist uses the paper at hand so paper colors will vary, making each design a unique example of handcrafted art. These beads receive a protective coat of clear nail polish.
