Unique Blue and Red Wool Area Rug, "Rose Rivers"

Virgin wool in rich rose alternates with deep blue rivers. Within, lighter jaspe patterns are achieved by tie dying the yarn prior to weaving. "Jaspe symbolizes the cypress trees in my homeland," says Guatemalan weaver Fermin Coguox. "I hope you appreciate this work – it's a cultural heritage that has been dying out over time."
