Unique Batik Beaded Cotton Shoulder Bag, "Jogjakarta Legacy"
Java's Wahyu Sulistiani designs a trendy shoulder bag with an internal pocket. Working with batik techniques on cotton, Sulistiani selects the parang sekar pisang motif in a palette of red, blue, green and cream hues. The parang sekar pisang blends two legendary motifs, the parang or dagger, once reserved for Javanese sultans, and the sekar pisang or banana flower.

"Beautiful purse"
Love this handbag, is is absolutely beautiful. The bead work is wonderful. What I love about it there isnt one lose bead on it, her sewing is very professional. And the handbag is just beautiful. Definitely will be coming back to get another one from this artisan.

"Batik beaded handbags"
Wayhus beading is perfectly done. The beads are anchored with none of the beads loose. The beading accentuates the fabric perfectly. Totally pleased with the bag design, the fabric and the beading.
