Traditional Ghanaian Cotton Patchwork Peasant Long Skirt, "Asasaa"
A colorful cotton peasant skirt will be one of your favorites because it goes with virtually anything and everything. The long flare skirt with a comfortable elastic waist and an inner side pocket is called "Asasaa" by the designer, Lydia Mawuenya Amedzrator. This means "patches of cloth" in Ghana's Akan language.
Because an assortment of vibrant West African prints are used, no two skirts will ever be identical. Each is a unique piece of handcrafted fashion.

"Artistry, pure artistry"
The fabric is amazingly soft, and the pattern is bold and awesome. A work of art that just happens to also be a great-fitting face mask. Bravo!! When the Covid Plague ends this mask will go up on my mantle along with treasured family knickknacks. Until that happy day I will keep wearing this mask!

"Color Not as Pictured"
I bought this as an easy-to-wear around the house dress. I m 70 and enjoy a caftan. This appeared with a black background but is brown. Brown is definitely not a color I wear well. =( It is also very generously sized- definitely for in home wearing.
