Handwoven on a traditional backstrap loom, this beautiful scarf takes its colors from natural dyes. Clementina Vasquez demonstrates the Guatemalan art of jaspe, a form of ikat weaving in which the threads are tie-dyed before placing them on the loom. White diamonds form orderly rows on mulberry cotton.
