Details

People join a solemn procession with their heads covered: men with hats and women with a rebozo (shawl). It is a millenary tradition in which people escort an image of a saint enroute to a church, and passersby usually join in. "I've seen this often, in different parts of Mexico," confides Marina Pallares, who masters aquafortis and aquatint etching techniques to create this moving composition.

1 Testimonial for Marina Pallares

I love your prints, and I was so happy to find your print 'The Cat, Tequila Lotto'. My best friend loves cats and she loves Mexico (and she doesn't mind tequila, either). I bought her this print for her birthday and she absolutely loved it!
