Working in papier mache, Edith Orozco recreates motifs from Mexico's classic Talavera ceramics. A graceful swallow soars amid swirling brushstrokes known as plumeado, or "feathered" on a beautiful necklace. The heart is protected by a coat of lacquer and centers dark blue cords that are adjustable in length.

So many thanks Edith for this pendant. I turned it into an ornament for my tree. I hang it where I can admire it. When I bought this, it was the last one available. So glad to see that more can purchase this treasure.
