"think of it more as a dainty choker..."

even my husband liked this...and i am such a fan of oxidized silver...normally i only go for longer necklaces, which i would love to see here, on a more supple chain/threading... however, this is suitably enchanting on its own choker-like and slightly stiff scale...the only complaint i have is the clasp, which could be more smoothly functional and less prone to twisting... and perhaps more charming...maybe oxidized...

"Love these beautiful earrings!"

I bought these to go with two new tops, and they were perfect for them. I love how lightweight and delicate these earrings are and the fact that theyre not too long. They are quite lovely!

"beautiful!"

These earrings are absolutely beautiful. The opal is such a beautiful color. The earrings are very light, which I love, and the length is perfect. I have ordered a number of times from Teodoro Melendez and Family and have always been very impressed by the great workmanship. Thank you!

"not as shown"

The picture shows a nicely tumbled rock bracelet. The one I received was just pointy chips, like one might find in any craft store. Very disappointed, will likely never wear it. A low price so not bothering to return.

"My granddaughter loved it."

Bought it for my granddaughter for Christmas. She wears these earrings all the time. They complement the bracelet I got her for her birthday.i

Preserving Traditions

Preserving Traditions

Exposed to the unique designs of pre-Hispanic culture by his father, an archeologist and museum curator, Teodoro turned his interest into a livelihood. He learned the hammering, stamping, burning and casting techniques of early craftsmen, using them to create unique jewelry steeped in the culture of ancient Peru. Through his family workshop, he continues to pass these techniques to other artisans. Teodoro has dedicated his life’s work to perpetuating pre-Hispanic jewelry design and production techniques, many of which he was introduced to by Victor Larco, the founder of the Pre-Columbian Museum in Lima.

Confronting Adversity
