Sterling silver brooch pin pendant, "Lady of Guadalupe Star"
Designer Maria Belen Nilson celebrates Lady of Guadalupe with a fascinating pendant that can also be worn as a brooch. The Patron Saint of the Americas, Guadalupe is regarded by Mexicans as their spiritual mother. Accordingly, Nilson frames Guadalupe's face in a Tehuana headdress, from Oaxaca's traditional costume. Crafted with sterling silver, the brooch pendant features a detailed fretwork revealing a star and roses over a burnished finish. Features a hidden bale for a chain as well as a pin.
