Steel Sheet Double Barred Cross with Solar Design, "Solar Cross"
This elegant two-barred cross is crafted by Alejandro de Esesarte who cuts the image from steel sheets, then hammers it smooth. The cross is then hand-painted in acrylics with a sun inspired design, no doubt influenced by the semi desert climate of his home state of Jalisco. He then gives it a crackled finish for visual interest.

This is really colorful and used between two oil paintings that are also quite colorful. However, it can be placed alone.

"It has a place of honor on my garden fence!"
I liked the on-line picture of Worlds Rebirth. When I saw the real thing, I was delighted. The packaging it came in was probably the most careful that I have ever seen. Inside the reinforced cardboard, each of the four points on the top was carefully wrapped. Needless to say my cross arrived in excellent condition. The workmanship is wonderful. I saw no flaws. The steel is smooth and even. The colors are outstanding. The earth tones harmonize with my garden. They emphasize the message of Worlds Rebirth which is what gardening is all about. Thank you Alejandro for creating this outstanding piece.
