The emergency whistle can be heard up to a mile away, and the signal mirror is visible up to 20 miles away. Also includes fire-starting tinder and sparker, braided nylon cord that will hold 150 pounds, stainless steel wire, and an emergency sewing and fishing kit. The tool includes an instruction booklet by a backcountry survival expert.
