Small Green Art Glass Turtle Sculpture, "Leatherback Turtle"
Crafted entirely by hand, this beautiful art glass figurine is from Elena Herrera in Costa Rica. She forms a leatherback turtle from the glass, carefully combining multiple shapes and shades of green. Leatherbacks are the largest of all living turtles.

"This is now a cherished work of art."
This figurine is very well made with great attention to detail! The artisan has a brilliant technique for reflecting the colors painted on one area of the artwork to create beautiful and unique visual effects. Elena Herrera is a genius at working with glass! The green shades in this work of art match perfectly with other green home decor where I have it displayed. It forms part of a set with another glass turtle figurine in blue that I ordered from Elena Herrera recently. The very small size of the figurine makes it ideal for small apartments and condos with limited display space.

"One is not enough"
I bought several with different colors and have them hanging where the sunlight shines through - they sparkle! They bring a smile every time.

"This is a beautiful piece."
This has been sitting on an end table in my living room for months. On a whim, I placed it inside a mouth blown glass lily that was next to it. Perfect! It is small and delicate, but really really nice.
