Silver Inlay Bidriware Wall Mask from India, "Silver Durga"
Using bidri, a traditional Indian metal handicraft originating from the town of Bidar, Amarnath designs this stunning wall mask in the image of Durga, a major Hindu deity. The artisan casts the mask from an alloy of zinc and copper, engraving freehand designs all around the goddess. Finally, thin strips of pure silver inlay shine against the black mask.
