Creating an illusory 3D effect, Brazilian artist Ricardo Siccuro uses ribbon motifs to depict a couple of parakeets that displays the colors of the rainbow. Resting on a pencil "branch," the colorful duo is depicted in a surrealist style, the coiled ribbon revealing negative space. When you look closely at the giclee on canvas, you can see intricate wave patterns that decorate the parakeets.

"Deeply Disappointed in the Print"
I was expecting a high quality canvas print.....like a giclee, but what I received was a ultra low quality canvas which I dont think was actual canvas but a cheap polyester facsimile. The printing on this so called canvas looks as though it was run through a home printer and not a professional artistic print. Im just glad I didnt spend a lot of money. I guess the old adage is true, You get what you pay for.
