A flowing landscape in beige is host to a nearby village, basking under the pale sun. Several people ride their bikes and carry goods across the landscape, while others toil diligently at their daily chores. Ghana's Francis Amoah depicts a scene full of serenity, naming the painting after the Harmattan, a trade wind that travels from the Sahara to the western coast of Africa.

In college I started collecting modern impressionist art, especially images of beautiful women from around the world as created by different artists. My mother really loved the things I picked and soon we were collecting together. During medical school, I found two artists from New Orleans we collected. Later we found artists from France, San Francisco, British Columbia, and Hong Kong. My Moms home is filled with paintings of beautiful ladies from around the world. Now two more beautiful women join them. Furthermore, at 88, my Mom remains, in my opinion, the most beautiful woman in the house.
